Toyota has put everything into the interior of the Grand Highlander to take on the best of rivals. From an infotainment perspective, the SUV comes with a standard 12.3-inch infotainment display, capable of over-the-air (OTA) updates, voice control, connected services and Google POI search. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto features are wireless and can pair two devices via Bluetooth.
A configurable center console between the front seats should be able to swallow a lot. With the tray off, Toyota says it’s large enough to hold a tablet.
The 2024 Grand Highlander will come in three trim levels: XLE, Limited and Platinum. The entry grade has a high level of equipment, with 18-inch wheels, heater-equipped outer mirrors, and roof rails as standard equipment.
Inside, there are Softex trim seats with power adjustment and heating for the driver and passenger. A digital key is also available. On the safety side, the XLE receives, among other things, Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, a power liftgate and blind spot monitoring.
