We sincerely apologize for the great concern and inconvenience caused to our customers and other stakeholders.

Daihatsu Motor independently conducted an in-house crash test to confirm the safety performance of the Toyota “RAIZE HEV.” This test was conducted to address safety concerns of customers using the model.We report the results as follows.

Application: For safety confirmation when a vehicle collides with a utility pole from the side.

II. Future Efforts

The test conducted this time was an in-house test at Daihatsu and has not been confirmed by a certification body. In order to resume shipment and sales of the Toyota “RAIZE”, we will carry out the necessary procedures after consulting with the certification authority, such as conducting tests in the presence of the certification authority and confirming other certification items.

On May 12 (Friday), the top management of each group company gathered to discuss the “Toyota Group’s sincere attitude toward manufacturing” and renewed its awareness.
