GAC AION Receives Orders Over 10,000 Units In Two Days For 2023 AION Y Plus/S Plus

Shanghai (Gasgou)- GAC AION, the new energy vehicle (NEV) subsidiary of GAC Group, announced through its WeChat account that the total number of orders for the AION Y Plus in 2023 and the AION S Plus in 2023 has increased slightly since the two new facelifts hit. It announced that it reached 10,033 units in 48 hours. Market on March 31st.

Offered in six trim levels, the 2023 AION Y Plus is priced from RMB 119,800 to RMB 153,800. The 2023 AION S Plus has four trim levels, with guidance prices ranging from 149,800 yuan to 165,800 yuan.

Both new products have minimal exterior and interior design changes from previous versions. One of the main improvements is the motor technology that allows the 2023 AION S Plus a maximum range of 610km.

The two new facelifts are expected to further boost GAC AION’s car sales. In March 2023, the automaker sold 40,016 of his vehicles. In the first quarter of this year, GAC AION’s year-to-date sales increased by 79% to 80,308 units.

On March 30th, GAC AION held an event to demonstrate that their Magazine Battery 2.0 passed the shooting test. This is the hardcore method used here to prove the high thermal safety of the battery.
