2024 Chevrolet Camaro to debut with collector’s edition package

The current 6th generation Chevrolet Camaro withdraws Chevrolet hasn’t announced it’s ditching nameplates, but it doesn’t have a direct successor in sight.

To mark the end of service for the current vehicle, Chevrolet is celebrating with a special Collector’s Edition package available for the 1LT, LT1, SS and ZL1 grades. This package focuses on enhancing the Camaro’s style, not performance.

For the 1LT, LT1 and SS grades, the package adds a unique black paint finish called Panther Black Metallic Tint Coat. The name Panther is a reference to the original codename used by the Camaro. Early development 1960s, and at some point considered as the final name car’s.

The Camaro ZL1’s Collector’s Edition package features the same Panther Black paint, but with a unique matte finish. The package also adds a front splitter and rear wing (coupe only). All Collector’s Edition vehicles also come with a welcome kit with custom exterior badging, custom floor mats, posters and a matching Shinola clock.

The package costs $4,995 for 1LT, which also requires the $1,950 RS package. The LT1 is $5,495 and requires the $1,495 RS package. The 1SS is $5,995 and the ZL1 is $14,995. This brings the total price of the Camaro with the Collector’s Edition package to $39,440 for the 1LT, $47,385 for the LT1, $49,890 for the SS and $88,690 for the ZL1. The price includes the destination, but the gas guzzler tax is excluded from the ZL1 price.
