The VW Group-owned company says the NACS connector will be added to existing and future infrastructure, and that the change will increase convenience and drive more consumers to adopt EVs.
“Since our inception, we have been committed to building a comprehensive, open, ultra-fast charging network to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles,” said Electrify America President and CEO Robert Barosa said. “We look forward to continuing to support industry-wide standards that increase vehicle interoperability and streamline public charging.”
