Bosch news in China – Gasgoo

Shanghai (Gasgou)- CATL and Bosch signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on December 15 to implement strategic cooperation in exploring the global new energy vehicle (NEV) aftermarket.

Under the MoU, the two companies will leverage their respective technical strengths and advantages to further explore cooperation models and aim to jointly build a sustainable aftermarket ecosystem.

Thanks to its extensive and cutting-edge deployment in the after-sales field of power batteries, CATL has set up over 500 service spots and over 20 regional warehouses worldwide. The company has also built an industry-leading training system and has led and participated in the development of about 20 industry standards for NEV battery he aftermarket, the battery maker said.

With one of the world’s largest independent automotive service networks, Bosch offers a one-stop aftersales solution worldwide, including auto parts sales, vehicle diagnostics and maintenance services.

CATL has a growing presence in quite a few domains. In early December, the battery supplier signed a new partnership with Honda Automobile (China) Investment Co., Ltd., providing the latter with a total of 123GWh of power batteries for battery electric vehicles (BEVs) between 2024 and 2030.

Apart from supplying batteries, CATL launched an EVOGO battery replacement service in Guiyang, Guizhou earlier this month.

On December 14th this year, CATL signed an agreement with Huawei Device Co., Ltd. to cooperate on the Huawei Smart Selection vehicle project, and also signed an agreement with Chery Holding to form a comprehensive strategic cooperation.
