2024 Porsche Cayenne Offers New Cockpit Design

The midsize crossover, which hits U.S. stores this summer, uses a driver-centric concept with the main controls clustered around the steering wheel.

The new dashboard is electric taycan fastbackincluding a free-standing curved 12.6-inch digital instrument cluster and a revised center console.

Introduced in the latest generation of the 911, the multifunction steering wheel makes it easy to navigate driving mode controls and instrument cluster display settings.

The Cayenne’s gear selector has been moved to the right of the steering wheel to make room for the large climate control controller in the center console. The vertical outlet eliminates the conventional louver.

The Cayenne’s dashboard incorporates the optional 10.9-inch passenger display that debuted on the Taycan.

Passengers can use the touch screen to operate the navigation system and select media content. Screen dimming technology prevents the driver from seeing the passenger screen.
