New Delhi, February 28: French automaker Citroen has launched its first EV (Electric Vehicle) on the Indian car market. The new Citroën eC3 all-electric hatchback looks very much like its ICE counterpart and aims to offer a superior EV experience.

Citroën eC3 – design, features and specifications:

The newly launched Citroën eC3 flaunts cool, contemporary overall styling, with some bold styling elements, sophisticated lighting and chrome highlights that provide chic visual appeal. . The eC3 will be introduced to India in two variants, Live and Feel. Extremely capable with large 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, 3-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel, height-adjustable driver seat, ABS, dual airbags and reverse parking It boasts an abundance of cabins. The eC3 is driven by a front-mounted electric motor suitable for delivering 56 BHP of power and 143 Nm of peak torque. The all-electric vehicle can sprint from 0-60 km/h in just 6.8 seconds and has a top speed of 107 kmph. The EV has a 29.2 kWh battery and an ARAI certified range of 320 km.

The Citroen eC3 EV comes with a 3.3 kW onboard AC charger that supports fast charging. The company says the EV takes 57 minutes to charge from 10 to 80 percent using a DC fast charger.

The Citroen eC3 was launched with a starting price of Rs 11.50 lakh which ranges up to Rs. Rs 12.43 lakh (all prices, ex showroom). Cars can be reserved.
