Chinese luxury EV maker HiPhi releases interior images of HiPhi Y SUV

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Recently, Chinese luxury electric vehicle brand HiPhi, owned by Human Horizons, released official interior design images for its third model, the HiPhi Y.

According to newly released images, the HiPhi Y’s interior design continues the architectural concept of its predecessor, the HiPhi X, which features three screens inside the car.

According to the company, this model will be launched at a price of 369,000 yuan, and will be positioned as a mid-to-large SUV. It will be released on July 15th, and demo vehicles will be lined up in the showroom in early July.

In terms of appearance, HiPhi Y carries on the futuristic elements of HiPhi X. Its front displays distinctive family features, including a prominent headlight assembly. The overall car has a drag coefficient of 0.24, a testament to its sophisticated design. Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with the 2nd generation NT Intelligent Falcon Wing Door System, but without the butterfly style door design to accommodate a wide range of everyday applications. Cameras are installed on the wings and B pillars, and a LiDAR system is installed on the roof, so the performance of the driving support system can be greatly expected.

The size of HiPhi Y is 4,938mm in length, 1,958mm in width, 1,658mm in height, and the wheelbase is 2,950mm.

Turning to the interior, the iconic three-screen set-up continues to be a distinctive design feature within the vehicle. His 17-inch OLED central control screen guides the visual center, flanked by a 12.3-inch all-LCD instrument screen and a 15-inch high-resolution co-pilot screen.

Optimized by an electric platform, the spacious five-seat layout offers ample headroom and legroom for both front and rear occupants. In addition, the rear seat dual folding tray table option accommodates diverse work and entertainment needs in different scenarios.

In terms of power performance, HiPhi Y offers various drive versions for customers to choose from. According to previous declaration information to China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the vehicle’s battery will come in two versions, 76.6kWh and 115kWh, with ranges of 560km, 765km and 810km respectively. The company announced that the dual-motor all-wheel-drive version has a maximum combined output of 371 kW and can go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.7 seconds. HiPhi Y also features optional rear wheel steering.
