Volkswagen Showcases 2024 Atlas Peak Edition at NYIAS

Volkswagen of America, Inc. is pleased to announce the 2024 Atlas Peak Edition trim line at the New York International Auto Show. Body cladding elements inspired by the Basecamp concept unveiled in 2019 create a more rugged land look, while blackout detailing and a unique interior palette further enhance his 2024 Atlas family.

The Peak Edition model’s face immediately stands out from the rest of the Atlas trim with a rugged front fascia and silver underbody cladding. A gloss black ‘X’ design element borrowed from the Atlas Cross Sport extends across the lower fascia. Two chrome strips pop out of the blacked out grille and run either side of the illuminated logo.

Moving down the side of the vehicle, a large gloss black badge adorns the front quarter panel, complete with the orange and chrome Peak Edition logo. 18-inch black alloy wheels with 255/60 all-terrain tires add to the Atlas’ versatility, while sturdy black and silver side sills visually enhance the look. Black mirror caps, window surrounds, wheel arches and roof rails complete the blacked out look.

At the rear, a black tailgate strip is combined with a robust black and silver diffuser with chrome exhaust bezels. New exterior colors for the Atlas family, exclusive to the Peak Edition model, are Avocado Green and Pure Gray.

Inside, the Peak Edition model features a distinctive look that draws from the colors of the logo. Titan Black leatherette is combined with light gray accents and orange contrast stitching. The Black Metallic Check pattern dash and door inserts further enhance the look that sets it apart from the rest of the Atlas family. The steering wheel clip carries the same logo as the exterior badging and ambient lighting, with 30 color choices and an innovative backlit dash decoration that reads ‘Peak Edition’.

The Peak Edition Trimline joins the Atlas lineup for 2024. The lineup will be detailed in preparation for its launch this summer.
