BYD Partners with LEAL Group to Bring New Energy Passenger Vehicles to Mauritius

Shanghai (Gasgou)- BYD Auto Industry Company Limited (“BYD”) recently announced a partnership with LEAL Group, a leading car dealer group in Mauritius, to promote its new energy passenger vehicles (NEPV) in the local market.

The cooperation was formed after BYD and LEAL Group’s subsidiary, LEAL Energie Ltd., held online signing ceremonies at both BYD’s global headquarters in Shenzhen and LEAL Group’s headquarters in Port Louis.

With 27 years of efforts, BYD has evolved into a one-stop New Energy Vehicle (NEV) solution provider, with a comprehensive grasp of NEV-related technologies such as batteries, electric motors, electric control units, and automotive-grade chips.

Currently, BYD’s NEV footprint covers over 400 cities in over 70 countries and regions. In the first half of 2022, BYD sold over 640,000 of his NEVs, a year-on-year increase of 300%.
