The mill is the same as the one used by Yamaha MT-125 The R125 features Yamaha variable valve timing, which allows the engine to function more effectively over the entire rev range. It provides over 14 hp (11 kW) and touches the top of the output allowed by the A1 license limit.

This lightweight and agile machine is ideal for riding environments in crowded cities.Yamaha

The engine is housed in Yamaha’s Deltabox frame and uses a 5.1 inch 37mm USD fork. The rear shock provides 4.3 inches of travel. The braking package is also easy, with hydraulic calipers gripping one front 267mm disc and a rear 220mm disc. Light alloy wheels contribute to the nimble features of this 309-pound machine.

Aesthetics that match its old brothers, the XSR700 and XSR900.Yamaha

However, such a ride quality is not so important for its mechanical specifications, and Yamaha pays a lot of attention to the appearance and details of the XSR125. Equipped with LED headlights and taillights, for example mimicking its styling XSR700 And XSR900 Siblings, and a circular LCD instrument panel. The painted front mudguard matches the body color and the overall aesthetic matches Yamaha’s retro sports heritage line.
