Technically, ID Buzz is based on VW’s ID4 electrical crossover using VW Group’s MEB electrical platform.

ID Buzz is an expanded wheelbase version that immediately follows a 6-seater and 7-seater configuration, providing room for up to 5 people. The standard configuration has sliding doors on both sides.
According to VW, the ID Buzz and ID Buzz Cargo have a spacious interior comparable to VW’s T6.1 van, thanks to a compact 4,712mm long wheelbase with a total length of 2,988mm. The T6.1 has a similar wheelbase, but is 192mm longer.
According to Kaban, the car has a lounge-like friendly atmosphere with plenty of space for passengers and luggage.
The cargo edition is large enough to hold two euro-sized pallets in the back.
The dashboard is dominated by a 5.3-inch display and a 10-inch or 12-inch infotainment touch screen located in the center of the dashboard.
