Swedish power company and Swedish electric motorcycle maker Vattenfall has signed an intention to share expertise in their respective areas of competence with the aim of developing the first fossil-free electric motorcycle.
This collaboration combines the scientific capabilities between Vattenfall and CAKE, as well as outside experts, on a journey to fossil-free motorcycles that should be ready for series production in 2025.
“This collaboration is a great example of how we can provide fossil-free knowledge and supply chain expertise for specific products that drive zero emissions,” said Vattenfall’s Head of Corporate Sustainability. Annika Ramsköld said.
Both Vattenfall and CAKE are committed to leading the transition to a fossil-free society. Vattenfall’s goal is to enable a fossil-free life within a generation, with the goal of living a smarter climate for all our customers. The purpose of CAKE is to inspire people and help speed up the path to zero emissions through a combination of consumer product excitement and responsibility.
