Detective Kevan Berry said in a statement today that the trio were arrested after police executed five search warrants in Northland, Hamilton and Oakland this week.
The warrant was part of a Northland organized crime unit operation targeting the group, allegedly obtaining cash through fraudulent mortgage applications for several years.
Since 2017, major companies have tricked financial companies into offering loans to buy cars, Berry said.
The forged banking document was allegedly used to obtain loan approval, after which a fake statement of payment was allegedly created to earn more loans and more money.
