Greenger and Honda Powersports Release First Officially Approved CRF-E2 Youth Electric Dirt Bike

The new model has a competitive balance of performance and value

Only available from American Honda Power Sports Dealers

Ontario, CA (March 8, 2022) – Electric dirt bikes have become a viable choice for today’s kids and their families with the introduction of the Greenger x Honda CRF-E2 by Greenger Powersports as a result of a new collaboration with Honda in the United States.

The CRF-E2 represents a practical yet exciting entrance to the world of power sports, bringing the motorcycle experience to a new customer pool. On the other hand, this bike is a fun training tool for young beginners as it does not require the operation of clutches or shift levers. For kids who already have motorcycle experience, the CRF-E2 is an affordable step up to a real dirt bike. For both groups, this is a quiet, environmentally-friendly, powered recreation that can be enjoyed in more places than traditional mini-dirt bikes.

Driven by a low-voltage (48 volt) BLDC electric motor with an internal rotor, the CRF-E2 produces a maximum output of 3.4 horsepower and 18.4 ft-pounds of torque. Its lithium-ion battery has a best-in-class range of about 2 hours in an ideal state of full charge. The battery can be fully charged in 4 hours or 2.5 hours using the optional fast charging system. If you have a spare battery, you can replace it in seconds. This is a unique feature of this class of Greenger.

The CRF-E2 features high quality such as twin spar aluminum frames, tapered aluminum handlebars, front and rear hydraulic disc brakes with petal style rotors, adjustable aluminum brake levers and 12 inch aluminum wheels with Kenda® Millville K771 knobby tires. We are proud of the components. .. Suspension components consist of a 33mm telescopic hydraulic fork and a DNM shock with adjustable preload and rebound damping. The amount of movement of the front and rear wheels is 3.9 inches and 8.3 inches, respectively. Thanks to the red plastic bodywork and the blue and white graphics that mimic Honda Performance Dirt Bikes such as the CRF450R and CRF250R, kids can believe that they are the Team Honda HRC Champion.

With an adjustable hand lever and the ability to change the seat height from 24.8 to 25.5 inches, the CRF-E2 is physically compatible with a variety of riders under 99 lbs. In addition, you can switch the maximum output between the two levels to adapt to different skill and experience levels.

“The CRF-E2 extends the fun of riding a motorcycle off-road to more families,” said Brad Chapman, Sales and Marketing Manager at Green Garpower Sports. “It’s just a cool little off-road bike, so its appeal to traditional enthusiasts is obvious. At the same time, it doesn’t consider power sports otherwise, but the increasingly ubiquitous role of electricity in our society. Breaking down the barriers with people who are already happy with it. I can’t wait to see more kids get the chance to discover what a dirt bike is. “

Through this new collaboration, CRF-E2 will be exclusively available through Honda’s nationwide network of participating Powersports dealers.

“We are pleased to partner with Greenger Powersports to provide our customers and dealers with innovative and friendly electric off-road bikes,” said Bill Savino, Senior Manager of Customer Engagement at American Honda. “One of Honda’s missions is to” secure the joy of the next generation, “and CRF-E2 is clearly in line with that goal. We look forward to working with Greenger to grow our motorcycles into the future. “

The suggested retail price for the CRF-E2 is $ 2,950.
