Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha) competed in a more perfect race in Germany today, winning and increasing his championship points to 34. Ducati’s Pekkobanyaia, who was considered by many to be the protagonist of this year’s title battle, suffered another DNF after the crash. Second only to Quartararo, the race is only three laps. Bagnaia is currently 91 points behind Quartararo, and this year there is a mountain to climb to catch the defending champion.

Finishing in 2nd and 3rd place today were Johann Zarco and Jack Miller on the Ducati. Miller recently announced that he will move to the KTM factory team next year.
