Forward Air Corp. announced that it will expand its rapid service below truck capacity in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Land transportation and logistics service carriers in Greenville, Tennessee are implementing growth strategies, including investment in organic infrastructure, and Vancouver is demonstrating the latest steps in its planning.
“Opening Vancouver can improve customs clearance for cargo, which means we can reduce your shipping time,” said Tom Schmidt, CEO of ForwardAir, in a statement.
“From this facility, we can meet our current rapid schedule of transfers via Seattle and servicing the 48 states of the continental United States. We also support regional businesses with world-class pick-up and delivery services.” He added.
Western Canada is currently connected to Forward Air’s US and Canada networks and is fully equipped with premium freight management services for LTL, full truck loading, intermodal freight transportation, and final mileage delivery, in addition to direct and rapid LTL services. Portfolio has been added.
The company opened more than 20 facilities this year as part of its continued expansion.
