Alfa Romeo announces UK pricing details for its debut electric vehicle, the all-new Junior

Alfa Romeo has unveiled the pricing structure for its inaugural electric vehicle, the Junior EV, in the UK. The Italian automaker, under the Stellantis umbrella, announced that the base Elettrica model will start at £33,895 ($43,303 / €39,845), with orders slated to open later in June.

The Junior EV is offered in two variants: the standard Elettrica and the performance-focused Veloce, with a limited Speciale edition of the Elettrica trim available at launch. Both the Junior Elettrica and Speciale boast a 156-hp (114-kW) powertrain, while the Veloce steps up with a robust 240 hp (176 kW) engine. Alfa Romeo claims that both versions can be charged from 10% to 80% in under 30 minutes using a 100 kW rapid charger.

Standard features of the base Junior Elettrica include 18-inch diamond-cut aero alloy wheels, LED headlamps and taillamps, gloss black mirror covers, rain-sensing wipers, and rear parking sensors. Inside, it offers a 10.25-inch configurable Cannocchiale instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch driver-oriented central screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and an array of safety systems like Adaptive Cruise Control and Automatic Emergency Braking.

The Junior Speciale Elettrica launch edition enhances this with a sports styling kit, vinyl-fabric interior, electrically operated driver’s seat with massage function, and additional safety and convenience features. Pricing for the Speciale variants starts at £35,695 ($45,603 / €41,954).

The Veloce model, priced from £42,295 ($54,035 / €49,716), boasts a more potent 240 hp (176 kW) powertrain, Torsen differential, lower suspension, and sport brake calipers. It flaunts exclusive 20-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, black roof, and a sporty interior with Corsa Sabelt seats in black and red leather and suede.

All Junior variants come with a 400-liter boot and offer optional premium packages for enhanced safety, comfort, and sportiness, though pricing for these add-ons is yet to be confirmed by Alfa Romeo in the UK.
