A new Ford car destroyed by a Missouri train derailment

On Monday, a train derailment in northeastern Missouri destroyed dozens of new Ford trucks and vans.

Photos and videos on the site shared online by aerial photographer Delbackman show that the Ford F-150 and Transit Van were destroyed after the train went off the railroad tracks.

The Missouri Highway Patrol could not immediately find the cause of the derailment.

Ford spokeswoman Kelly Felker said Thursday morning that Ford was aware of the accident and was assessing the situation.

The incident occurred at Huntington Road, Ralls County, around 12:15 pm. There were no injuries or release of dangerous goods.According to the vehicle is destroyed Missouri Highway Patrol Twitter account.

The vehicle may have been shipped from Ford’s Kansas City assembly plant in Claycomo, Missouri.
