2024 Kia Sorento Hybrid Has A Starting Price Of $36,690

Last year, Kia discontinued the entry-level S trim, which had a starting price of $34,090 when it was on sale.

Interestingly, the automaker has not released MY 2024 information for the non-hybrid or plug-in hybrid Sorento models. We expect updates and pricing to follow in the coming weeks. The regular hybrid is a fine blend of efficiency, performance, and value, partly thanks to the generous equipment levels and reasonable pricing.

As a reminder, the Sorento Hybrid is powered by a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine. It’s supported by an electric motor and produces combined outputs of 227 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the drive wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission.

The Sorento Hybrid FWD gets an estimated 37 mpg on the combined cycle, while the AWD derivative manages 34 mpg on the same cycle.

We expect the facelift to arrive ahead of MY2025 with fresher styling, new interior finishes, and, perhaps, more powerful engines.
