The Tundra is one of the oldest full-size pickup trucks produced in the United States. However, it has been nearly 15 years since the last renovation. Therefore, the 2022 Tundra has been significantly redesigned in its new generation. Automakers have already shared some teasers for the 2022 Tundra, which gives a clear idea of what to expect. It gets a larger dominant grill adjacent to the LED headlight units on both sides. It also stands on a huge set of 32.5 inch front wheels with Falken Wildpeak all-terrain tires. Teaser also shows that the 2022 Tundra will get a coil spring suspension instead of the old leaf spring rear suspension setup.

Joe Moses, General Manager of Vehicle Marketing and Communications, Toyota Marketing, Toyota Motor North America, said: This truck has been redesigned from scratch to offer outstanding performance, amazing features, the next level of multimedia, and maintain the quality, reliability, and durability known to Toyota trucks. .. “

Toyota Tundra’s TRD Pro model features a large 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system compatible with Apple CarPlay. The pickup truck also features a huge sunroof and a power-sliding rear window that retracts to the rear of the vehicle. The seat is made of perforated leather with a TRD Pro badge. The handle will be a red band while the in-car speaker is attached to the A-pillar.

The new generation Tundra also comes with a dedicated drive mode selector that includes specific modes for rock crawling.

The 2022 Toyota Tundra may be equipped with a 3.4-liter V6 engine with a twin-turbocharger to replace the 5.7-liter V8 iForce engine used in the Land Cruiser SUV. The engine can produce a maximum output of 400 horsepower. Toyota may later come up with a hybrid version of the new Tundra to rival the likes of the Ford F-150 PowerBoost hybrid. 2022 Toyota Tundra Pickup debuted next week and was teased prior to the announcement
