2022 Mini Convertible Chart Future Course

The mini convertible will continue for the foreseeable future, with new models coming out in 2025.

Bernd Körber, Head of the Mini Brand, said: “The future success of the vehicle is compelling.”

Zesti Yellow is a new exclusive color for the 2022 Mini Convertible. However, there are no signs that yellow rug tops are spurring that demand.

The larger radiator grille, redesigned headlights and side scuttles were discussed in detail in a previous article... The Mini made its debut 30 years ago, followed by a convertible. The Mini claims that the open-top four-seater is the best-selling convertible in the world. It happens when there are few convertibles in production.

Mini convertibles are the most accepted in Germany, followed by the United States and the United Kingdom. “Last year, almost one in five German Mini customers chose open-top driving fun,” said Körber. “This shows the great enthusiasm of the mini-community for such a vehicle concept in the future.”

Indeed, the Mini Convertible is the only open top in the shrinking premium compact car segment. All three engine options feature Mini’s TwinPower turbo technology, starting with 136 horsepower and 162lb-ft torque with a 1.5-liter direct-injection 3-cylinder. Next to the S model is a 192HP, 2.0-liter 4-cylinder with a torque of 206lb-ft. At the top of the range, the John Cooper Works 4 Banger produces 231 HP and 235 lb-ft of torque.

Despite the frowning, embarrassing-looking front fascia, the Mini Convertible has a very enjoyable quotient. Consider buying before the brand’s new generation of pure electric compact cars, starting at $ 27,900 and going up to $ 31,900.
